A brief history on the world of Sacred Tails

Long ago, in a time of great harmony, humans and Shinsei lived together in a beautiful land blessed by a Deity. The Shinsei were mystical creatures that were deeply connected to nature and imbued with incredible powers. They worked together with the humans, helping them in their daily lives, guiding them in their spiritual journeys, and protecting them from harm. In return, the humans treated the Shinsei with the utmost respect and kindness, offering them food and shelter, and forming unbreakable bonds of friendship.

The Shinsei and humans shared a deep spiritual connection, and this bond allowed them to live in perfect synchronicity. The humans used the Shinsei's incredible powers to bring life and fertility to their crops and to heal their sick. In return, the Shinsei benefited from the humans' companionship and love. They even learned to fight alongside their human friends, harnessing their powers in friendly battles that served as a way to deepen their bonds and to improve their skills.

However, as with all things, there were some who sought to use the Shinsei's powers for their own personal gain. A few bad individuals pushed this too far, harnessing the Shinsei as weapons of grave destruction in their wars. The Shinsei's powers were too great to be controlled, and the resulting devastation was catastrophic. The land was scarred, and the Shinsei's powers were unleashed in a way that caused great harm to both humans and Shinsei alike. The Deity, seeing the greed and corruption that had taken hold, cursed the land, severing the spiritual connections between humans and Shinsei. The once-harmonious world was plunged into darkness, and the Shinsei turned to stone. Centuries passed, and the Shinsei became distant memories, relegated to legends and fables.

One day, a young girl with a heart as pure as crystal arrived at the temple to pray. She had heard tales of the wondrous world of the past and longed to see it with her own eyes. She visited the temple every day, praying with all her might for the world to return to the way it used to be. Her earnest prayers were heard by the Deity, who began to consider the possibility of restoring the bond between humans and Shinsei.

As fate would have it, the girl's prayers aligned with the Deity's intentions, and together they broke the curse that had separated humans and Shinsei for so long. The statues scattered across the island, once serving as a painful reminder of the past, began to glow with a blinding light. A rainstorm of pure light swept across the land, healing the sick and illuminating the world with a soothing aura.

As the light faded, the girl and her grandfather were amazed by what they saw. Shinsei, thought to be nothing more than legends and fables, had returned to the world, ready to assist the humans in restoring the land to its former harmonious state. The Shinsei and humans' fates were once again entwined, and they set forth on a new journey, determined to rebuild the world together.
